Joe DeLustro is a 50 year veteran of aircraft MRO. He holds a degree in Aerospace engineering and A&P licenses. Joe started his career with United Airlines as a planner in the San Francisco engine shop eventually moving to power plant engineering. After United Joe moved to TransAmerica Airlines as Manager of Jet Powerplant. Here he was responsible for maintenance of a fleet of CF6, JT3 and JT9. Then the reengining of TransAmerica’s DC8 aircraft with CFM56-2 engines. Following this Joe went to AirCal as Senior Engineer Powerplant. When AirCal was purchased by American Joe started his 21 year career there. At American Joe held multiple positions including Sr. Engineer Powerplant, Powerplant Production Supervisor, Sr. Engineer Long Range Planning and Supervisor Continuous Improvement. After American Joe briefly worked as Director of Maintenance for Aeroturbine. Returning to Tulsa he taught A&P classes at Spartan college. Then seeking a return to commercial aviation Joe went to work for Jet Parts engineering Mid-west Regional Sales Manager. Now Joe is bringing his knowledge and experience to Jet-Rep
